Last morning at the  hotel - a very pleasant place to stay - and the breakfasts simple but very special. 

James arrived mid-morning to take us to our home for the next three months!

Spent most of the afternoon replenishing the van for our travels. Spent time in supermarket pondering the choices on offer.

I am writing this blog at 8.45pm just as the sun is dropping behind a distant hill - temperature hovering around 25 degrees in the van. Very pleasant!

Still feeling some hangover from the trip over - wide awake at three in the morning. Things are getting better though. 

Having a lovely overnight at a picturesque area in Hemel Hempstead. 

Flights Booked!

Fantastic!   Flights have been booked for our European Summer of 2013 - very early for us! Flight from Hobart to Sydney with Virgin Blue and then a Sydney-Hong Kong-London flight with Virgin Atlantic.

Two changes to the itinerary since we have booked!  Now going via Melbourne to Sydney and leaving at 6.00 am - not the best time to depart!

And now on the way home another change - this time a seven hour delay in Sydney before the flight to Hobart!
