Cromer

Another cool morning this morning but woke to the impressive view across the barley field with Castle Acre castle ruins and village in the background.

Away towards Cromer on the Norfolk coast to meet Dagmar, Martin and Alan for the day. Lovely to catch up with familiar faces and share experiences of respective adventures.

We joined the others for a trip to Felbrigg  Hall for the day. Beautiful gardens with the Rhodos still in bloom - everything is much later here this year - so we are told by the locals everywhere - even the fishermen at Salthouse said the seas. Fish are out of kilter with the time of the year.

We returned to Cromer for a beer and an evening meal. Took the opportunity to try the local dark bitters - very nice.

Farewelled friends and drove on to our overnight at Salthouse.
