Dennach

There must have been eight to ten vans parked around the area by this morning. Quite a few came in late - people keep interesting  schedules. Did some house work etc before setting GPS for Dennach - Mathilde and Hansjorg's house at the northern end of the Black Forest.

Arrived late morning to a lovely welcome from Mathilde and Hansjorg.   Caught up with all the news of the past few months over a bottle champagne. 

We later drove to pick cherries at the house of friend, Jurgen. Mathilde's daughter, Angela, joined us as well. 

Here we picked a few  boxes of cherries before staying for a barbecue I dinner - nice too. Jurgen shared his excellent collection of miniature working models of engineering marvels of the past, most of which he made. 

Returned back to Dennach for a good nights sleep.
