The Danube - Tuttlingen

A slow Sunday morning. Fiddle and fuddled before deciding to continue to the Danube at Tuttlingen. A gentle 40 odds kms before arriving and parking next to the river.

Chatted to another German vanner who informed us that there was  a 'sommer' festival in the town at the Honberg - castle ruin.

Decided to stay here for the rest of the day and enjoy the sights and sounds of the town and the festival. The promonade along the Danube is a very popular attraction for the locals, and being a Sunday and sunny they were out in droves.

We set off on foot for the Honberg - quite a climb to get to the ruins - but the setup much the same as at St Georgen last night. The star attraction was the 60's group Manfred Mann. Enjoyed some food, beer and music before leaving to take in other sites on the way back to the stellplatz.

Rested up before a well earned evening wine and dinner!!! Life just gets tougher!
